Top Secret (Classy Girls Only!): One Happy Earring Hack
This simple, creative hack has saved me a bunch of stress over the past year: I keep a whole jar of cheap, fake pearl earrings.
This beautiful collection on display came at the price of 8 sets for $3, at Rose’s.
At that price, I can grab any two matching earrings in the morning, and not worry if I happen to lose them later. They’re so much like the real deal, that the relief of not having to keep up with them completely outweighs the coolness factor of real pearls.
Shhh… the faux thing is a classy girl secret. 
I’ve done this for about a year now. When I started, the jar was half-full. I have maybe half the earrings I started with, but for under $20, I could fill the jar up again. You might be able to buy one pair of real pearl earrings for that price.
And the best part? Pearls are classy with everything! I pretty much wear pearls most days now. And eliminating the frantic earring hunts of my past has been a tremendous relief.
